GREENVILLE, OH — After an enthusiastic response from participants earlier this summer, Greenville Public Library is bringing back Splash Bash on Saturday, July 11, at 11:00 a.m. on the library lawn.
Designed for ages 8 and up, Splash Bash invites kids and teens to cool off with an exciting outdoor water battle filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition. Participants will team up for water-blasting action while enjoying the summer sunshine. The library will provide water blasters and safety glasses, so attendees can jump right into the fun.
The decision to offer a second Splash Bash came directly from participants who requested another opportunity to take part in the popular event.
“Our first Splash Bash was a huge hit with the kids who attended,” said Nikki Levek, Programming Specialist at Greenville Public Library. “They had so much fun that many immediately asked when we could do it again. We’re excited to bring the program back and give even more kids the chance to join in the summer fun.”
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get wet and are encouraged to bring a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes if desired.
Registration is required, and space is limited. In the event of inclement weather, the program will move indoors and transform into a Nerf battle through the library stacks.
