On July 23, the Annie Oakley Festival held its Miss Annie Oakley Shooting Contest Finals at the Darke County Fairgrounds.
Four girls competed for the title Miss Annie Oakley: Rachael Wright, Alia Hunt and the sisters Violet and Hadassah Evans.
At the end Alia Hunt earnd the title, the sisters Violet and Hadassah Evans had a shoot-off to determine first and second runner-up. Violet beat her sister Hadassah in the shoot-off and is the first runner-up.
