DAYTON, Ohio — Versiti Blood Center of Ohio will host seven community blood drives across Darke County in August. Residents are encouraged to schedule an appointment and help support the blood needs of local hospitals and patients.

- Family Health Services of Darke County: Wednesday, Aug. 5, 9 a.m.-noon, Family Health Community Rooms, 5735 Meeker Road, Greenville, OH 45331.
- Bradford High School Community Blood Drive: Thursday, Aug. 6, 3-7 p.m., Bradford High School Auditorium, 750 Railroad Ave., Bradford, OH 45308.
- Brethren Retirement Community Greenville: Saturday, Aug. 8, 8-11 a.m., Brethren Retirement Community Brick Room, 750 Chestnut St., Greenville, OH 45331.
- Greenville Community: Tuesday, Aug. 11, 12:30-6:30 p.m., Greenville Church of the Brethren Social Hall, 421 Central Ave., Greenville, OH 45331.
- Spirit Medical Transport LLC: Wednesday, Aug. 12, 4-6 p.m., donor coach at Spirit Medical Transport LLC, 5484 state Route 49 S., Greenville, OH 45331.
- Wayne HealthCare: Tuesday, Aug. 18, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Wayne HealthCare Community Rooms, 835 Sweitzer St., Greenville, OH 45331. Use the Harrison Street entrance.
