The Darke Soil & Water Conservation District is conducting its
annual tree seedling sale until March 21. The 2-3 year seedlings are
bare root stock and each tree is dipped into a preservative gel to keep

The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet
Wednesday, January 15 at 6:45PM in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room
and Training Center at the Board’s offices, 1100 Wayne Street, Suite

except August and December. The Tri-County Board is dedicated to

bring it to Shawnee Prairie Preserve (4267 State Route 502 West) to
recycle it back to nature! This FREE event is hosted by Darke County
Solid Waste District and all shredded trees will be used on the trails.
Please remove all ornaments, lights, wire, tinsel, and nails prior to
arrival. We regret we cannot accept trees with fake snow. Drop-off is
only accepted during office hours, Monday-Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm.
