The Greenville Schools Foundation awarded several staff members of the Greenville City School District grants in the total amount of $13,000.00.
The goal of the Greenville Schools Foundation fund is to promote programs and activities of Greenville schools through funds raised in support of the following categories: Academic Excellence, Fine and Performing Arts, Athletic Programs, General Enrichment Programs, and Alumni Association. New, trial, or experimental programs that are designed to improve the student experience may be, by their very nature, unable to be funded through the Greenville City Schools budget. The foundation grant program is designed to help meet the needs of this type.
