Linda dedicated many years of service to Greenville City Schools and Sterling House, where she served as head cook. She also spent many years working with individuals with special needs, a role that reflected her compassionate and caring heart. Whether preparing meals for countless students and staff or caring for those who needed extra support, Linda took great pride in helping others. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, unwavering work ethic, and the love she freely shared with her family and friends.
Linda embraced life with enthusiasm and found joy in the simple pleasures. She loved spending time at the beach, the pool, or anywhere in the sun, visiting the casino, playing bingo, and trying her luck with scratch-off tickets. She could always be counted on to “cut a rug” and cherished every opportunity to dance with her friends. A devoted member of Hickory Grove United Baptist Church, her faith was an important part of her life. Linda also dedicated many years to coaching softball, where she encouraged, inspired, and made a lasting impact on the lives of the young athletes she coached.
Linda’s greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion that will be cherished by all who knew her.
