Douglas “Doug” Eadler age 56, of New Madison passed away at 1:54 pm Monday, November 29, 2021, at his residence.
Doug was born August 18, 1965, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Thomas D. Eadler and Linda (Delk) & Larry Wood of New Madison. In addition to his father, Doug was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Forest & Evelyn Eadler and Herb Turner.
In addition to his mother & step-father, Doug is survived by his siblings, Alysa & Jeff Collins of New Madison, Jon Eadler & Beverly Long of Jacksonville, Florida and Larry Wood II of New Madison; grandmother, Phyllis Turner of New Paris; nephews, Jonathan Eadler and Chase Collins; nieces, Caitlyn Eadler and Kiara Wood; and great-nephew, Kash Wood.
Doug was a 1983 graduate of Tri-Village High School. He worked at Brookville Roadster where he was a machinist. Doug was a drummer in the band DDT. He was an avid league pool player and dart thrower, in which he competed in numerous tournaments.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Village Rescue or the American Heart Association.
