Trespassing
On September 22, 2025, at approximately 0113 hours, Officer N. Colby and I were dispatched to 657 Martin Street in the City of Greenville in reference to an intoxicated subject refusing to leave the residence. Upon officers’ arrival we spoke to the resident, Reed Wymer. Reed stated he had allowed the defendant, known to me as Stephanie A Green, to stay at 657 Martin Street for the last few nights, however she does not live there and had just gotten out of jail. Stephanie’s daughter, Maria Green was also at the residence and did not want Stephanie there. After speaking with Reed, I spoke to the defendant. The defendant was noticeably intoxicated with a mostly empty Natural Ice beer can in front of her. The defendant had bloodshot eyes, was highly emotional, sometimes would make comments that made no sense, and had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage around her person. Reed stated the defendant had drunk approximately 10 Natural Ice 12oz beer cans prior to my arrival. The defendant also informed officers that she did not live there. The defendant was told she would have to leave the premises since no one wanted her there. The defendant refused to get off the couch, make her way to exit the premises, make any calls to have someone pick her up, or allow officers to take her somewhere so she would no longer be trespassing. The defendant was warned for trespass at the time. While Mariah and Reed filled out a statement and victims right form, I stayed with the defendant and continued to tell her she needed to leave. The defendant recklessly remained on the property at 657 Martin Street after which communication was given for 30 minutes for her to leave. The defendant continued to refuse to leave so she was placed under arrest for criminal trespass and transported to the Darke County Jail where she was incarcerated with a $275.00 Bond. The defendant was advised of the violation and issued a copy of her citation.
Traffic Offense
On September 25th, 2025, at approximately 0830 hours, I was dispatched to the Greenville Police Department, 122 West Main St. in reference to a traffic offense. Upon my arrival, I was given a report from the Greenville City Bus Barn, 511 Markwith Ave., in regard to a vehicle passing a stopped school bus. According to the report and the witness statement from Robert Riegle, on September 22, 2025, that at approximately 0929 hours, Robert was operating bus #8 eastbound on Rhoades Ave and had stopped at the cross street of Parkway Dr. with its flashing amber lights and flashing stop sign activated when a red Ford sedan bearing Ohio registration GFD2218 passed him. The school bus driver was unable to see who was driving the vehicle. Sgt. Raffel showed me the video from the bus which was emailed to GPD along with the report. In the video I observed that the bus came to a complete stop in the eastbound right lane at the cross street of Parkway Dr. I observed the flashing stop sign activate when the red Ford sedan passed the school bus heading westbound on Rhoades Ave. I was also unable to identify who was driving the red Ford sedan. I attempted to contact Christina Parker, the registered owner of the red Ford Sedan, to talk with her about the incident and was unable to reach her, so I left a voicemail. After watching the video several times, it was clear to me that the red Ford sedan did not have a reasonable amount of time to stop based on when the stop sign was activated and when the red Ford sedan reached the front of the bus. On September 26th, 2025 at approximately 1545 hours I spoke with Christina Parker’s daughter, Emma Jones. Emma stated that she was driving her mother’s red Ford sedan on the 22nd. I entered a warning for Emma not stopping for a school bus while stop sign is activated. On September 30th, 2025 I spoke with the bus barn supervisor, Chris Carlisle, about my findings in this case. I informed him I found and warned the driver for not stopping for a stopped school bus.
Wanted Person
On September 24th, 2025 I observed Ethan Albert at Emmitt B Smith Park. I had prior knowledge that Albert had and active warrant for his arrest out of the Greenville Police Department for failing to comply with an original theft charge. I made contact with Albert and confirmed his identity by his SSN. Albert was placed into handcuffs that were gap checked for tightness and double locked after GPD dispatch confirmed the warrant. Albert was transported to the Darke County Jail and left with on duty staff. The rear of my cruiser was checked before and after transport with no contraband located.
