Silver Hoofs 4H club to hold silent action
GREENVILLE-THE Silver Hoofs 4H Club will be holding a silent auction on
Sunday, March 15, at the Darke County Fairgrounds Youth Building,
during the annual Darke County Tack sale, to raise money for the local

members, project books, awards, insurance, supplies for holiday favors
for a local nursing home, 4H camps and other misc. fees.
Last year the auction raised enough money to pay for the members to make a overnight trip to the Columbus Zoo.
Many items will be on display to be bid on.
Some of those items include tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game,
Disneyworld package in Orlando that will include five one day
hopper passes, overnight camping at a local campground, a
Kitchen-Aid blender, a Kobalt Welding helmet, carload pass to African
Drive Thru Safari (8 per carload max) and a family pass to Mack Arena
among many other things including a 31 bag with $150 worth of hair
products.
There will be a two dollar admission fee.
The annual tack sale will go from 10a.m. until 3 p.m.
