Ohio Department of Education Continues to Update Website with Coronavirus-Related School-Building Closure Information

In light of the current public health crisis, please be sure to check
the Ohio Department of Education webpage regularly. Changes,
cancellations and updates will be posted there.
As more details become available, the Ohio Department of Education
continues to update its website with information related to the ordered
school-building closure.
Information on the Grading, Promotion and Retention webpage is intended
to help educators and school administrators with questions about how to
handle student grades, as well as promotion and retention of students
from one grade level to the next in light of the ordered
school-building closure.
New updates to the Whole-Child Nutrition document offer information on
how programs can continue to provide meals to students during the
coronavirus pandemic.
A new question has been added to our Frequently Asked Questions page to
reflect inquiries about whether schools should adjust their calendars
due to the ordered school-building closure.
Educator Evaluation Systems Frequently Asked Questions are intended to
help educators and school administrators with questions about the
educator evaluation process in light of the ordered school-building
closure.
Autism and Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship programs now have a
website to help answer questions that may arise regarding the
administration of those programs due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Finally, new information has been added to the resource site for
Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness during this time.
