Good morning!
And what a gorgeous morning the Lord has given us! Can we just pause a moment and reflect on the amazing God we worship.
I have been reading through Leviticus lately, and it is remarkable to
think of all that the Jewish people had to do to commune with God. But
what is truly breathtaking is not what the Jews had to do, but what God
did--and continues to do--to live amongst His people. Think about it.
God who created all things, is above all things and is absolute
perfection in every sense of the word, allows a people wracked with
sin, evil and uncleanliness to come into His presence. And He doesn't
just allow it, He has always given us a way to make it happen. From the
early Jews' animal sacrifices to Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross, God is
so set on turning every heart to Him, He's willing to give us the
materials, instructions, ability and opportunity to be with Him.
How great is that? How great is our God! I don't know about you, but I
thank God that we'll never grasp all of His greatness. We will always
be learning about Him.
