Darke County Parks Job Opportunities
The Darke County Park District is seeking hard working, knowledgeable
individuals to join their team. Available positions include Apprentice
to the Miller / Maintenance Laborer, Account Clerk, and Naturalist
Intern.
The Apprentice to the Bear’s Mill Miller is a flexible, multifaceted,
guest-facing, integral part of the Bears Mill Experience Team. The
Apprentice to the Miller participates in all aspects of running a
National Historic Site, water powered grist mill, educational exhibit,
including sharing the history and technology of the Mill with guests
and producing stone ground products for sale. This is a full-time
position.

The Account Clerk will meet and serve the public in the Darke County
Parks office assisting with bookkeeping and other duties regularly
performed by the accounting department, as well as, general staff
duties. This is a part-time position.

The naturalist intern will assist the naturalist staff in a range of
tasks associated with the natural & cultural programming,
organization of summer day-camps, environmental education, maintenance,
and operation of the Nature & Bish Discovery Centers and other
parks.
