Lewis Francis Glick
Lewis Francis Glick, age 75 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 10:13 PM
Thursday February 4, 2021 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center
in Greenville. Lewis was born December 3, 1945 in Miami County,
Ohio and the son of Rita E. (Bulcher) Glick of Greenville and the late
Ralph E. Glick.
He had been employed for many years in the tool and die department of
Fram Corporation of Greenville as well as employed with Markwith Tool
Company. Lewis was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1965
until 1967. He was an active member of the Trinity Wesleyan
Church of Greenville, had taught and shared the word of God through
Bible Study Classes and in general loved to share the love of Jesus
with everyone he had the pleasure to be in contact with. Over the
years, he enjoyed camping at Cozy Campgrounds at Grand Lake St. Mary’s
and giving golf cart rides to fellow campers, spending time in his
garage building birdhouses and helping his friends with many different
projects. Lewis had also served as a volunteer for Youth for
Christ.
Lewis was preceded in death by his father Ralph and Sisters Irene
Spencer and Sharon Swabb.
Survivors in addition to his mother is his wife Mary Jane (Coblentz)
Glick of Greenville. They were married May 18,
1968. Also children Catherine (Tim) Ellis of
Greenville, Benjamin Glick of Englewood, Ohio and Jennifer (Dr. Josh)
Horn of West Union, Ohio; grandchildren Nolan Ellis, Noah Ellis, David
Glick, Emma Glick, Noah Horn and Elizabeth Horn; sisters Karen (Bill)
Stump of Greenville and Patricia Valentine of Greenville; brother
Richard Glick of Greenville as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Lewis’s Life will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday
February 13, 2021 in the Trinity Wesleyan Church 1400 East Main Street
Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Drew Bush officiating. The family
will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of the service
in the Church.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the State of the Heart Care 1350 N. Broadway or the Trinity Wesleyan
Church 1400 East Main Street, both of Greenville, Ohio, 45331.
